I've been thinking about my own learning and development and discovered that I'm becoming part of various networks in my job environment, social environment and educational environment. These networks are all interrelated and I use various tools to stay connected and obtain new knowledge in the process of developing myself.
I created a PLE (personal learning environment) that indicates how various technological tools enhanced my becoming part of networks while learning.

My personal experience in Technologies for learning

I recently started the Emerging Technologies Course via the University of Manitoba.
What a mindboggling experience!!
I'm currently busy to explore various tools by which you can connect to other people, distribute knowledge, obtain knowledge, or make meaning of new concepts via your networking with people around the globe. Trying out new tools, especially the education value thereof, forced me to think "out of the box". I recently discovered so many new ways of obtaining knowledge or distributing content to my students.
